my first attempt at HDR (high dynamic range). created three copies of the same photo but with varying exposures in photoshop and then i used photomatix to generate the HDR image. within the tone mapping process, i selected a high to very high light smoothing to prevent the clouds from having a "gray lining". contrast and sharepening was further enhanced using photoshop.
